Marc Jacobs has caused a little bit of a stir as he had a 14 year old model walk the runway at his Fall 2012 fashion show in New York. The media is saying that 14 is too young because these young girls are exposed to drugs and unfortunately a lot of them suffer from eating disorders.
My personal opinion is they shouldn't be blaming Marc Jacobs for having this young girl in his show! She's 14 and a minor, which means her parents had to agree with her decision of becoming a model at such a young age, and they must be fine with what their daughter will be exposed to as a model. Marc Jacobs is a fashion designer trying to make money, so i say "Don't hate the player, hate the game!"
